Febatt Your Power

Shipping Policy

1. Compliance Foundation for Transportation

All lithium batteries and related accessories sold by Febatt fall under Class 9 Dangerous Goods (UN numbers: UN3480 Lithium Ion Batteries, UN3090 Lithium Metal Batteries, etc.). All transportation operations strictly adhere to the International Air Transport Association Dangerous Goods Regulations (IATA DGR), the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Amendment 42-24), and local transportation regulations of the destination country/region. All lithium batteries have passed the UN38.3 test and are equipped with qualified dangerous goods transport packaging and relevant identification documents (Dangerous Goods Transport Packaging Certificate) to ensure safe and compliant transportation.

2. Transportation Methods and Scope

  • Transportation Methods: Based on the product type (lithium battery/general cargo) and destination, select compliant air freight (cargo aircraft), sea freight, or land transport methods.
  • Coverage: Global delivery is supported.

3. Packaging and Labeling Requirements

All lithium battery products use Class II or higher dangerous goods packaging that meets international standards, featuring short-circuit protection, vibration resistance, and drop protection. Internal batteries are individually isolated and fixed to prevent movement or contact with conductive substances during transportation. The outer packaging will clearly display Class 9 Dangerous Goods labels, lithium battery-specific labels, and UN numbers. Air freight shipments will additionally be affixed with cargo aircraft labels to ensure full-chain transport recognizability.

4. Transportation Timeframe

Timeframe Explanation: International air freight typically takes 7-30 business days, and international sea freight takes 35-60 business days. The specific timeframe may be delayed due to the customs clearance efficiency of the destination.

5. Prohibited and Restricted Clauses

It is strictly prohibited to ship lithium battery products to countries/regions that have explicitly banned imports; non-specialized dangerous goods transportation channels such as regular postal mail and standard couriers are not supported for lithium battery products. For goods detained or returned due to the recipient’s failure to provide necessary customs clearance documents or refusal to pay customs duties, the relevant costs shall be borne by the recipient.
